This entry illustrates my second attempt at the PBL lesson. This lesson was a major improvement from my first attempt. In this lesson students were actively engaged in the activity and utilized different methods to solving the problem. Students exchanged their opinions about what apparatus to use and when and this brought about great discussion amongst themselves. However, one mishap that was observed was my questioning in that I kept on looking for a particular word from the students when in fact they were explaining the concepts properly. Other than that, this was a very good lesson and one which demonstrated the power of the PBL in engagement, critical thinking, communication amongst peers and concept attainment.
