This journal entry was chosen since it was an important event that had a pronounced effect on my teaching evolution. It reflects on my micro-teaching session which was an important critique of my practice since it afforded me the opportunity to critically assess myself. As teachers we rarely get a look at ourselves from our students' eyes and this session afforded me the chance to view my teaching mannerisms and body actions during a lesson delivery. This was important since it allowed me to reshape my body language to further enhance my teaching pedagogy.
This journal also highlights my feelings about being able to teach a lesson in a small space of time. It showed me that no matter how little time I may have, I could have delivered a quality lesson and assessed my students effectively. This micro-teaching session was essential in further crafting my metamorphosis as an educator and lessons learnt from this session aided in my overall development over this diped year.
